Laser Dermatology
Laser treatment is most useful when the diagnosis, wavelength and settings are matched to the concern and the person being treated. Device choice is one part of a plan that also considers skin type, treatment area, downtime and aftercare.
The clinic’s platforms are the GentleMax Pro by Candela (Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm, suitable for darker skin tones), the 1550 nm erbium and 1940 nm thulium lasers for fractional resurfacing, and Laser Genesis. Nd:YAG is also used for nail fungus (onychomycosis) and persistent warts. Dr. Saadé’s published research includes laser scar treatment, supporting an evidence-conscious approach to fractional resurfacing. Assessment comes first so that laser is recommended only where it has a clear role.
